A dramatic play island with mirror and fun dress up clothing will give my students the opportunity to engage in rich dramatic play and provide them with a designated space to put their items away. Pretending to be a super hero, a fire fighter or a clown is a chance for my young students to imagine make believe scenarios and be their own super hero. Through play they will engage in back and forth conversations, learn to problem solve and negotiate with their peers and invite others to join in their play. They will know how to put their play clothes away and learn responsibility within the classroom.
