Every day, I am greeted by a different group ready to devour our daily problems and topics for discussion. I teach gifted education in a Title I school. I currently undertake what is called resource with 67 boys and girls. The students attend my class to receive an extra challenge in their daily routine. I assign in class an at-home inquiry-based projects for the students to complete. Each day, we work through analogies, logic problems, algebraic thinking problems, and generally have a critical thinking work out. I rely heavily on research projects and computer literacy skills to prepare the students for life after school. I would love to be able to take part in the program "An Hour of Code," however we currently only have one student computer in the classroom. Our school and my students in particular, love a good challenge. They love coming to school and get excited by gaining new knowledge.
