I teach in a rural Oklahoma elementary school of 800 students PreK-4. We have a very diverse population, with many Native American students represented in our classrooms. We serve an area with many working families who are supportive of our school but have little money to help us or their kids out. We have a large variety of different learners in our school, with classes having gifted students next to students working several grade levels behind. However, we believe that all of our students can learn and we tailor our teaching to wherever they are in their path. My class has 26 students that are each very excited about their 4th grade year. They are active learners who love interactive and multimedia learning opportunities.
