At our school, we share a computer cart with other classes. This limits the time that each student has each week. These Chromebooks would increase the amount of time each child has on Istation each week exponentially. My students have limited technology, and exposure to math and literacy at home, so it is imperative that they get as much Istation time as possible. Istation is an amazing math and literacy program that increases skills in all areas of math, fluency, vocabulary, spelling and other literacy skills. Research has shown that exposure and success with Istation have been directly linked to future success in math and literacy. By providing a strong foundation, our bilingual students' chances of being successful in the future are greatly increased!
