My class is made up of 23 kindergartners, 75% of whom are English Language Learners. They speak Spanish, Mam, Mandarin, Amharic, and Farsi at home. For some of my students, this is the first time they've ever been in school, and the majority of my class qualifies for free or reduced price lunch. Our classroom community is made up of curious and enthusiastic learners, and kind, supportive friends. My students have loved interacting with books and stories this year. When they're not flipping through pages of books in our classroom library, you can find them acting out stories with puppets during Choice Time.
