The Osmo Genius Kit and Osmo Pizza Company Add-On Game will help the students in my classroom in many ways. First the students will be able to use the numbers in the Osmo Genius Kit to complete addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication problems in a way that challenges the students in a fun interactive way. They will also be able to use the tangrams in the Osmo Genius Kit to build on their understanding of geometry shapes and how the shapes can come together and apart to make different objects. Finally, the students will be able to use the words in the Osmo Genius Kit in order to be able to build on their ability to read words with a comprehension of what they are. This will help the students to be able to read more word problems during everyday classroom assignments. When looking at the Osmo Pizza Company Add-On Game the students will be able to build on their understanding of fractions and money. The Osmo Genius Kit and Osmo Pizza Company Add-On Game will help my students be able to solve math problems by providing real life and hands-on activities. The students will be using the Osmo Genius Kit and Osmo Pizza Company Add-On Game part by part three times a week during math centers. Also, the students will be able to use the Osmo parts during applied learning time.
