I teach English (mostly English IV and AP English Literature) and the AVID elective. Since the return to "the new normal" after COVID, and as a result of other events in our community, the climate of our school has suffered. The staff (and some of the students) are working on examining what can be done to rebuild the strong sense of community that once existed in our building, and return our school to a place that more are not only coming to each day out of obligation but that we can be excited about coming to each day!

About my class
