These gift cards will allow me to purchase a Career Readiness unit for my special/regular education students that will provide them with the resources need to be prepared to enter the work force. The unit includes everything from completing job applications, common job interview questions, how to write a resume, and even how to greet your coworkers on their first day. Work experience skills will allow my students to be prepared for life! With this skills in place, my students will then learn how to keep their job, manage their money, invest, open/use a bank account, buy/rent a house, buy/lease a car, and pay bills. These are the true life skills that many of our students leave high school lacking. I want to change that for my work experience students.
