With so many educational platforms teaching computer programming today, and many of my students being on very different levels academically, it is difficult to find a program that is both age appropriate and rigorous. Code Monkey maintains the game based approach that engages the students, while relying on command line coding which can be very challenging. Computer programming jobs are growing at a rate 12% higher the fact that my students have been born with some for of disability should not prevent them from accessing jobs in this field. I can't wait to teach them the skills they will need!
