Children that are often stressed or upset cannot use higher brain functioning necessary to learn. Quiet areas refresh the mind and body that will help them to focus and concentrate. It can help children build skills to manage stress and big emotions. Children can also develop an understanding of their bodies needing to stop and relax. Privacy areas can help develop self-awareness, reflective skills and promote positive behavior.
