My students will be able to record their thinking, brainstorm with the writing pen, and record lessons that they may need to go back and review. An exciting part about the Surface Tablet is that it will allow my students the opportunity to bring their writing to life through Google CS First. My higher level thinkers will be able to dive deeper into their writing and expand their knowledge outside of what they already know. Google CS First introduces my student to computer science and the programming language Scratch. My students will be encouraged to persevere through difficult problems and to reflect on those challenges. They will be able to build an animated story using the characters from their personal story. For them to be able to do this they will learn how to write code in text. Allowing my students this opportunity will open the doors to a brighter future.
