Flexible seating allows students to move around without causing a distraction to themselves or peers around them. I have chosen a variety of flexible seating options to meet the needs of each individual student. My classroom will be arranged with desk heights varying from 12 inches off the floor, to standing height. The flexible seating options I have selected include stability balls, bar height stools, chair height stools, wobble stools, floor rocking chairs, and inflatable chair cushions. This also allows the students to choose a different seat each day depending on their current need. I feel that it is important to provide variety and choice so that the students are able to sit and learn in the best seat for them!
