The magnetic ten frames will help my students better understand how to make a ten to solve problems with one digit numbers. A student math balance will help my students grasp comparing numbers, as they are able to see if one number is greater, less than, or equal to another number. In small group settings, the magnetic base ten blocks and the counting and place value chart allow students to build numbers. Students see and “act out” the regrouping of numbers as they happen across the different places within numbers.
