Through previous uses of these STEM activities borrowed from other teachers, I have found that my students have begun working more cooperatively with one another and communicating more effectively. They also enjoy the "fun" aspect that these and other hands-on activities, which translate into motivation to continue learning in all subjects. My class responds well to these structured activities that allow them to work with one another while learning valuable concepts such as visual, perceptual, spatial, and logical skills that will help them as they grow. With the increased use of STEM activities across education, I look forward to their increased progress in all these areas.
