These hands-on math and reading items will help student be successful with student lead teaching and learning during station rotations. The items will be used while teacher is pulling students for small group instruction. Keeping students engaged in learning is very important. By providing station work that is more engaging will help increase student achievement across all areas in the learning process. My students really enjoy being able to use markers, manipulatives and being able to create their own data sheets while in independent stations. Few items on my list will be used to direct a whole group lesson while students are in buddy groups.
