I am currently teaching Living Environment to 9th grade Special education students in one of the public schools in New York City. My students are very motivated to learn amidst their learning disabilities and difficulty that they have outside of the school. I always tell them that they might not have control of the things around them but for sure they can control themselves and what they want to be in the classroom and in the future. With this in mind, my students are very focused and always ready to digest the new things that I teach in the classroom. As their teacher, my main goal is to provide them with exciting learning opportunities and not to add to their miseries.

About my class
