My Students and I thank you for your consideration in supporting our 6th grade classroom. Our school is a pre-kindergarten through sixth grade elementary school located in Omaha Nebraska. Our school has an exceptionally diverse population of students from all different backgrounds with more than fifteen various languages spoken. This gives our whole school a chance to embrace and learn about one another. Despite many socioeconomic and personal challenges in their lives, students come to school each day smiling and eager to learn. My students appreciate hands-on learning, and are enthusiastic lovers of different learning methods. We are a diverse group of learners, coming from different cultures and family structures. In my classroom we build a respectful community of learners by practicing mindfulness each day.
