Our school is a Title I school with a population of students who want to be successful. My project is only the beginning in pushing these students towards success. Even though most of my students come from low-income households and live in single-parent households, they are creative and are very eager to learn. I believe that by teaching my students structure and organizational skills, they will continue to strive to be successful. My goal is that the students learn how to become responsible and accountable for their work. The academic planners will be used to note due dates for homework assignments, test dates, and for missed assignments. The planner will also be a good communication tool between teacher and parents.

About my class
