When I tell people that I teach 6th grade, most of the time they look at me sadly and tell me how hard my job must be. This is not the case at all. I spend every school day with amazing, caring, hard working students. The majority of my students are Hispanic and come from low income families. Although we are a low income school, we are high performing. We received some of the highest CSAP scores in our school district, and we continue to work harder to grow.

About my class
