Not all students come to school equipped with the skills needed to be successful. This social skills kit and games are engaging and fun, and will help provide my middle school students with social skills needed for them to be successful in their community and in the classroom. Having appropriate social skills is necessary for students to be successful students and adults. By donating towards these resources, you are helping students with emotional and behavioral needs to learn important skills such as transitioning, classroom behavior, peer relationships, vocational skills, impulse control, maintaining friendships, conflict management, self regulation skills, and several other vital skills these students will need to become successful in the classroom, community and workplace. The "In a Jar Game Set" will help my students learn to cope with various feelings by providing coping strategies for stressful situations. This game is fun and interactive, which makes learning more enjoyable for my students. The Social Skills Board Game Set will allow my students to work cooperatively while working on improving a variety of social skills. The Explore Social Skills Introductory Kit introduces students to 50 essential social skills and helps them to improve on these skills using step-by-step instruction. The instruction is interactive and uses videos, photo-based directions, and role playing.
