We have the brains, but missing the brawn. Meaning, we have all of the microcontrollers, wiring, breadboards, and displays in order to make some great projects, but we are missing the power components and sensors. The original batteries were non-rechargeable, and have long ago died. Adding the requested parts to our inventory will enable our kids to build just about anything they can think of. And not only that, but they will be able to continue doing so for years to come. The batteries requested are all re-chargeable, and the the solar panels are flexible and extremely resilient, perfect for surviving the rigors of the middle school classroom. Last, but not least, the sensor modules requested will enable students' creations to not only output data, but collect it from their environment. This will allow them to go from "dumb" devices to "smart" devices that can react to changes in their surroundings!
