  • Supplies for Mathematicians

    Funded Aug 14, 2022

Thank you for your generous donations to my students and classroom. Your willingness to help the students in my community makes such a positive impact on my class. You have made sure my students' families do not have to worry about paying out of pocket for things they need for class. I was able to purchase supplies they use every single day. I was also able to make my classroom a comfortable relaxing place for them to learn. Every person, student and staff alike, that enters my classroom has commented on it containing everything they could possibly want or need. I'm so incredibly proud to let everyone know that all the supplies were donated with love and kindness from you.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Jackson

  • Help Me Multiply Student Success

    Funded Jan 15, 2020

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your generous gift. Initially this technology was used to record, project, and edit my lecture and notes live. My students were able to lead their classmates through instruction by directing the flow of our lessons. I was also able to more closely monitor them during independent practice.

During this unprecedented time my students were taken out of the classroom, but their learning experience didn't change. Instead of using the IPAD to directly teach and monitor my students by walking around the classroom, I was able to use it during virtual teaching as an interactive white board. It became the key to their return to normalcy and I am so grateful for that.

My hope, when we return to school, is that a new class of students will benefit from this technology. It will help to bridge the gap for many more students to come. Thank you so much for your help!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Jackson

As a special education teacher, I am lucky to have such a diverse group of students. They have many different strengths, weaknesses, and approaches to learning. To reach all of my students, I must differentiate my lessons. Walking around my classroom while teaching Algebra is essential to ensure my students understand what is being taught. The iPad will make lectures more interactive and engaging as it allows me the ability to connect more directly with my students. From the iPad I will be able to display handwritten notes, videos, Powerpoint presentations, and more while students are learning. I will be able to see exactly what students are doing, as well as provide immediate feedback. This grants me a better understanding of students' needs while increasing student mastery.
