My students are fourth and fifth graders from some of the most impoverished neighborhoods in New York City. They are in a special education class with me because their needs have been found to be so great that they need individualized attention to attain their educational goals. They work their hardest every day to become better readers, writers, and mathematicians. It is only when they become frustrated with the materials in front of them that they do not achieve what they are capable of achieving. My goal as an educator is to give them the supports and materials they desire to become successful students! Class V13 is forever grateful to all those who donate; you make our learning environment that much better.
