My students are 5th grade English language learners embrace the opportunity to learn. Our grade level was recently relocated to the middle school setting and now my ELL students don't have access to books on their appropriate independent reading level. We need a nonfiction leveled classroom library in order for my students to independently select "just-right" books for Reading Workshop and to use the books as resources for informational writing pieces. Reading leveled books will also give my students the opportunity to practice independently the reading strategies and skills learned in class. Please consider making a donation to our nonfiction classroom library.
