Students will be actively involved in reading the holiday book, The Polar Express, by performing tasks/activities related to the book's theme. The month long project will end with a culminating activity of a simulated "camp out," in the media center. The sleeping bags are a central resource of of the culminating celebration, but also add to the assurance of helping our students keep warm in their homes at night. It is fortunate for us to use this instructional event as a way to give our students just that, a sleeping bag for home to help provide warmth to their shelter.

About my class
