A document camera is a wonderful tool to use in the classroom! As a teacher, it enables me to project documents and other things on the board on a large scale. A document camera would allow me to take what would be an individual assignment and turn it into a class assignment or whole group discussion. They are great to use for highlighting information, test review, a graphing tool, a display tool, and a discussion tool. It also makes demonstrations so much easier since I can put it on a larger scale, which is especially beneficial to students with vision problems.
