My students have specific learning challenges, in addition to continuing to acquire English as a second (or third!) language. Due to their attention, emotional and learning difficulties, these students respond best to manipulative materials rich in visual support. All the materials I am requesting will support the developing vocabularies and English literacy skills of my ESL students. Tools like the Sequence & Write Tiles provide colorful pictures, rich vocabulary, and an engaging format that helps students feel successful while learning to read and write organized English sentences. The Touch and Read Phonics set, magnetic letters, word and story tiles, and other materials can take my students from learning new words, to writing descriptive sentences, and finally to composing paragraphs and stories! I can't wait to use these tools with my eager students!
