Breakout EDU kits will make my classroom a learning escape room! Students will work in teams, which will increase teamwork and collaboration. Critical thinking skills will be required to decipher the codes to break open the locks.
I have prepared breakout adventures for each of the Math 6 VA Standards of Learning to coordinate the math learning with the problem solving required to breakout of each of the boxes. The Breakout EDU kits will encourage the application of math skills while developing creativity and leadership. At the end of the year, my students will breakout of my classroom as more creative, flexible, problem solvers!
