My inquisitive second graders need a colorful and inviting area in our classroom where we can come together for whole group lessons and activities. This classroom rug will allow my second graders to come together to meet as a whole group, a small group, or individuals looking for a comfortable spot to enhance their learning. This rug is named, Maps That Teach Rug, and it will help my students learn geography. It is important for my students to learn about the world in a more global sense. This colorful rug will also help to facilitate engagement in our class discussions.
