All my students have learning disabilities and they struggle daily with staying focused. Using a hands on manipulative, such as, the flip charts will ensure stability and individual focusing to tasks. Although, a hands on manipulative helps students stay focused on lessons, it does not help keep them seated calmly at their desks for an extended period of time. The donation for this project will significantly help our students improve their focusing span, by providing appropriate stimulation using bouncy bands as a manipulative. This manipulative will greatly benefit our students. These bands will help them stay seated and focused during lessons at their desks, while expending excess energy at the same time.
