Students will interact with animals to learn how to evaluate the animals to experience livestock judging. Students will also care for the animals to learn about the animals' basic needs. Most of the supplies will assist with basic care. In order to limit biosecurity issues, students will need to wear shoe covers in the lab. This will help give the students animal experience other than the typical companion animals. The animal interaction will also help lower stress levels for students. This project will help improve the quality of my agriculture class and help our students have another positive experience with animals.
