My students are from rural Arizona and come from a variety of backgrounds. Some live below the poverty line in single parent homes while others come from families where both parents have college degrees. We live in a community of hard working, supportive families that want the best for their children. Our school is an International Baccalaureate school that serves students Kindergarten through 8th grade. I am one of two first grade teachers and I have 24 energetic 6 year olds in my classroom.
