My students are very enthusiastic and they dream big, but they come from poverty stricken homes where parents are not able to provide them with opportunities to make those dreams come true. They are always excited to come to school because that is where they find excitement and engaging activities that just keeps them eager for more. Still, most of my students are below their reading grade level and they are struggling with both fluency and comprehension.
