I teach Kindergarten through 2nd grade students in a special education setting. I teach at a Title I school in South Carolina where 100 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.The increase in children receiving services at this time has surpassed the number of available computers or tablets available within the classroom. Most of the children I serve do not have access to computers at home. The different types of learners within my class would benefit from this kind of assistive technology.
