My school is 100% low-income and a Title I school. This year we became an intermediate school, housing only 3rd-5th graders. We hope to create an interactive environment where students can focus their instruction on through simulation and stimulating activities to build on comprehension. Our objectives are to helps students establish a solid foundational core and implement levels of support for each of the 40 students academics, behaviors and social skills. I will be working closely with the exceptional children's teacher, guidance counselor, ESL teacher, AIG instructor, social worker, D.A.R.E officer and facilitator to plan lessons, applying small group strategies and co-teacher multiple subjects. But we need your help also. We need materials and training so we may help our students reach expectations and soar beyond their personal goals.
