My 24 kindergarteners are excited about learning. Although some have the newest forms of technology at their fingertips at home, many are lacking it. Our school is large with about 800 students, PreK-5th grades. A large portion of my teaching is done at the SMARTBoard. It's the ideal setting for our group gathering time, which takes place on the rug in front of the SMARTBoard. But when it's time for individual or small group work, I feel like I am worlds away from the very ones that need my guidance.
