Kids are active learners. They often learn best when they are able to move around and get the wiggles out. To help with this, I often allow kids to spread out around the room to find a spot where they can work best. Some kids enjoy finding a cozy corner, while others lay at the carpet with a clipboard. Other kids prefer to sit at a table. I have simply found that kids are more engaged in their work when they are allowed a choice in seating. The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options to choose how they work best. The wobble stools and bouncy balls will allow students to sit at a desk, while still allowing them some movement as they work. The wobble cushions can be used on a chair or as a floor cushion. The texture on the cushions can also be helpful for kids with sensory issues. These items can also be brought to the carpet for whole group time for those kids who might have a hard time sitting still. It is my hope that these products will allow kids to find a way in which they learn best so they can better reach their full potential!
