Music is a skill that will last a lifetime! Having a stand cart to store our music stands will greatly help my students, as it will provide a space for students to put stands away. I share my teaching space with the after school program and having the ability to make our stands mobile would be very beneficial to our music program. I teach 2nd-4th grade general music and 5th grade band/choir. Having a stand cart will save valuable space and allow us to move our stands more easily. I teach in the MPR currently and the stage gets transformed for many different purposes throughout the week. Having a stand cart would protect the music stands from damage as other people use my teaching space. My band students especially would benefit from having a stand cart as they would be able to have a space to put their stand away at the end of band class.
