As a first grade teacher, I am currently trying to prepare for the 2020-2021 school year, face-to-face, during the COVID-19 pandemic that our nation is facing. My first grade students are hard-working, creative, fun-loving, and inquisitive kids that attend a Title I elementary school. They come to school each day ready to learn. My wonderful students deserve a safe and enjoyable classroom environment where they are able to have individualized materials due to COVID-19. Having individualized materials will allow my students to have the wonderful school experience that they are used to having at school in years past. At home, some do not have adequate educational resources; therefore, I believe my students should have the resources they need at school.
