I work with a wide variety of students at the high school, students who are in the National Honor Society to those who struggle with their work. I strive to help these students push their limits so that they are trying new things and constantly working on becoming better. One group of my students take the time to read to the youngest students in our district weekly. Every week they spend about thirty minutes in a kindergarten or first grade classroom to read and discuss a story. This program is something that both the high school students and elementary students look forward to each week and the positive impact that it is making is evident at the end of each visit.
