The Kindle Fire tablets will help my students practice a variety of literacy skills that are essential for their success in fourth grade and beyond! On the Kindle Fires, students will use different apps where they canhave books read to them, record themselves reading, and practice their spelling skills. This will help my students grow and meet grade level expectations. The chapter books will allow my students to engage in Guided Reading Groups, where they will have discussions about characters, practice making inferences, and more! Students will also be able to use these books to practice written responses and learn new vocabulary.
