Hello, My name is Mercedes Robbins-Butler and I am a 7th and 8th grade Social Science Teacher at Johnnie L. Cochran Middle School, located in Mid-City Los Angeles. I currently teach the subjects of World History and Museum Studies and absolutely love what I do. Teaching has many challenges, but the hardest obstacle to get over is lack of resources. This is why I find it essential to search out alternative avenues to achieve the high educational goals I set for each of my students.
