Students in my class come from diverse cultures and socio-economic backgrounds. They are eager learners and soak up new information as quickly as it is provided for them. We are in a remote part of the world on our little island, so many of our students have never traveled or seen any other part of the world. They are drawn to picture books, which an alarming number of students do not have access to at home, and the children are always full of questions. We have many English Language Learners in our student population, so rich vocabulary is a necessary part of every day.

About my class
