Supporting my students in self regulation while learning is an essential piece of my job. The Hokki Stools and Bean Bag will give them essential tools to do this. The students that I teach often have very busy bodies, but want very much to sit and listen and learn. The Hokki Stools will give them a way to move and sit at the same time! The round bottom means their core muscles will be constantly moving and supporting the student. The Bean Bags will give them a place to go when they are overwhelmed and need a place to regroup. It will also give a space for them to learn self-soothing skills and strategies in a comfortable space. These tools will not be available to my students without a project like this. They deserve access to the best tools that we can provide!
