Currently my students only have two chairs and a rug to sit on in my office. I would like to add other types of chairs to help the students feel comfortable. Bean bags are great in a counselor office because the student feels enveloped in the bean bag. This helps deescalate a student. A variety of chairs helps the students feel empowered by where to sit. The games allow the students to learn new coping skills without having to use a worksheet. Games allow students to open up in a positive way instead of trying to get them to do it in other means.
