Having Chromebooks will allow my students to have computer programming in my classroom. They will be used in a math and computer programming center. Students can practice their computer programming and drawing skills. Students could take pictures of their belongings and recreate them as computer drawings. They could collaborate in groups by sharing through the Cloud. I could download apps for various math practice skills for a math center. This will allow the classroom to have activities for both high performing and struggling students. My project will make a difference because all of these students are so curious about technology. Our classrooms are not yet at the level technologically to meet their needs as learners. This grant will help to close that gap just a little bit more.
