I teach students in grades 3-5 in an intermediate self-contained special education classroom. My students are eager to learn and explore but have various limitations that form a barrier to education such as learning disabilities, emotional disorders, hyper activity disorders, and attention deficits. We are also located in an urban district where budget is tight and materials are limited. My mission is to support my students each and every day and provide them with the tools they need to access the education they so desperately desire and deserve.
