My students are intelligent, amazing, funny, loving, sweet, kind, caring and very special to me. They want to do well, but they wrestle with being able to achieve the goals set before them. We are in an area of high poverty and our students struggle each day, some with having the basic necessities in life met; some with difficult home lives; and some with learning challenges, such as autism, developmental delays and ADHD. My students are very supportive of each other and I just know these materials will motivate, excite them and, ultimately, help them to be more successful in the classroom!

About my class
