The camcorders will allow my students (especially those without the means to have their own technology) to record their learning. In Humanities, they explore many aspects of the world and learn about creativity and inspiration; it is so much more exciting when they can digitally demonstrate their learning rather than take a multiple choice test. In the first semester, all students are required to demonstrate their learning of Ancient Egypt with a self produced video. This encourages them to be creative and have fun while still learning important aspects of our world history. When they are engaged digitally, it has more meaning to them.
