We are a very 'Title One' school: 95% of our almost 700 students are economically challenged. We are over 90% English Language Learners and attend a school that has been a bit neglected, but due in three years for a rebuild. Our class is a kindergarten/first grade combination. Our age span is from 4 to 8, making centers and independent work absolutely necessary. Our class is a team with our own team name. We are proud and happy to be at school, but there are many things we need and I will be asking for more as the year goes on. Thanks in advance.
